Playa Flamenca / Orihuela Costa Orihuela Costa, or Playas de Orihuela, is less well known than the name of Torrevieja. It stretches from Punta Prima (on the south side of Torrevieja), through Playa Flamenca, Cabo Roig, La Zenia, Playa de Campoamor to Mil Palmeras. The coastline, which seamlessly merges with Torrevieja, offers many sandy beaches and bays, several of them fly the coveted European Blue Flag.
Situated within 15 minutes of Torrevieja, Playa Flamenca is a relatively new coastal development on the Costa Blanca. With the advantage of superb beaches only a short distance away, Playa Flamenca is fast becoming a popular holiday destination and many people have chosen to buy a second home here.
